Objective

The objective of this training unit is to give a thorough review into the use of fire protection to structural steel with the use of fire protection materials known as Thin Film Intumescent paint.

Objective:

The objective of this training unit is to give an understanding to the principles of passive fire protection.

We will also look at certification of products and testing, preparation and coating along with product and product use including application, storage, inspection and measurement.

In service considerations and faults both offshore and onshore will also be covered.
